"Celebrate" Baby Card, my pink stamper challenge #1, with video

I made this card for the my pink stamper challenge. It was to make something using black, and your favorite color. Well, my favorite color also just happens to be pink just like Robyn. I enjoyed making this card a lot.

I made a nugget tin to go with my girlie card I made last week. I gave it to a girl from church for her birthday. She liked it so much she said that she was going to keep the tin and put stuff in it. :)

This is the sentiment that I stamped on the inside of the card. Both stamps are from CTMH.

This is a picture of both the card and the tin together.
Here is the tin full of the Hershey nuggets I wrapped.
A look at the papers I used to wrap the nuggets. All papers used were BasicGrey.

Sorry for the blur of this picture. I made a ribbon slide using a CTMH stamp, and some PTI ribbon. The stamp says for you!

A look at the lid and the front of the tin.

The lid. The green, and blue card stock, stamp, and ribbon are all from CTMH. The patterned paper, and brads are from BasicGrey. The flowers are Prima, and the jewels are from the dollar section at Michaels.

Thanks card

I tried to challenge myself with this card. I wanted to make a one layer card, that didn't quite work for me, but I tried my best. All the products used are Close To My Heart.

I used the masking technique for the first time. I really like the way it turned out.

Thanks for looking,

Nicole

Congratulations Card

This card I tried really hard to make more for a boy, I hope it worked. I am such a girl that I have a hard time with these.

The base of the card is CTMH Vanilla Cream Card stock

The patterned papers are all from the CTMH Animal Cookies Level Two paper pack

The buttons are CTMH, and so is the strands through them.

The star in the center is from a my stickease set by CTMH, but I don't remember which one, sorry. I popped that up on some foam tape, and added some glitter to it.

The sentiment, "Congratulations" is an old rub-on that I had in my stash.

I sponged the edges of all the papers with CTMH Olive ink.

Thanks for looking,

Nicole

I LOVE YOU card

Post number two for today, this is another card I made this week that I finally got a chance to photograph.

The base of the card is from a Michael's card base set my mom bought for me a while ago.

Both patterned papers are from BasicGrey Sugar Rush line

The purple squares are from Die Cuts with a View glitter card stock

Flower Brads- Close to My Heart

and the "I Love You" stamp is from CTMH Fringed Phrases stamp set. Stamped in CTMH cranberry ink.

I sponged the edges using CTMH Cocoa ink.

Thanks for looking,

Nicole

Smile Card

Hi everyone. Hope everyone is having a wonderful Friday. The sun decided to make an appearance today, the first time since Monday, so I took advantage of that and snapped some pictures of the cards I made this week.

This card I made using Close to My Heart Citrus Leaf Green Cardstock. I used a flower stamp and embossed the whole base with clear embossing powder.

The pink paper on the top and bottom is Die Cuts with a View glitter paper. The flower and green band of paper at the top are both from SEI. I added glitter to the flowers on the Sei paper at the top. The Smile sentiment at the bottom is a rub on, from I don't know where.

Thanks for looking.

stamped candles

Right before Christmas I saw a tutorial about how to stamp on candles. I was so intrigued that I went out the next day and got the supplies to do it. It is easy, and really tons of fun! So fun that I gave them away to some friends. Then my mom asked me to make her some to give to the women she visit teaches, and for her husbands home teaching families. So I ended up making like 25 of these. It consumed my life for three days, and I LOVED every minute of it. I also made the bags. I took just a regular brown paper lunch bag and made it pretty, at least I think it's pretty. Anyway, I now want to make these candles for everything because I LOVED how they turned out so much. Hope you have a great day. Thanks for stopping by.

Christmas gift card holder

I wish this picture would have turned out better. It really is a very pretty card, so pretty that after I made it I just sat and stared at it for about 20 minutes. LOL. I randomly stamped the snowflakes on the ctmh chocolate cardstock and then embossed it with white powder. For the tag, I cut it out using my cricut, and I believe the new arrival cartridge. On the cream CTMH cardstock for the tag I took the same snowflake stamps and embossed them using clear powder. I really liked this effect, it was subtle yet very pretty. The blue cardstock is from Die cuts with a view glitter stack. The sentiment and snowflake stamps are both from ctmh. I glued the giftcard on the front of the tag, and wrote my message on the back.
Thanks for looking.
