Memory board

When my first daughter was born my sister gave me this cute memory board.

I used it for her, but lately it's been in my new little girls room. I am finally getting around to decorating that room. I loved the board with the cute baby feet, but it stuck out like a sore thumb in the room. So today I decided to recover it. I had some leftover fabric from Averie's car seat canopy so I used that. Then I used some ribbon to make the pleats at the bottom, and a gluber and more leftover fabric for the flower. I like how it turned out. I hope my sister does too.

Naptime Scrapbook page

I am still working on Koris first year book. I think it might turn out to be a first six months book. Lol I have tons of pictures!

I am really happy with how this page turned out. I took colors from the pictures and incorporated them into the layout. All papers are DCWV. The words and hearts I cut with my E2. Thanks for looking.

MPS CHALLENGE 12!

I did it! I am so excited I did all twelve challenges. It took me three days, and I only have an hour left to spare, but I did it!!!!!
The last challenge was to make a "kid" page. I decided to make a page for Koris Disneyland album. Minnie Mouse is her favorite, so I started there. I will add the picture later.

Oh by the way the new cricut rocks!

MPS challenge 9

Use lots of glitz and glam....OK.
I have to be honest, this is one of my favorite pages ever!!!!!! I love the simplicity, the glam, and of course the subject, my baby girl. I don't know if the picture will do it justice but, it is a very sparkly page. The orange is from the DCWV glitter stack. The circles have shine, and I backed them with pink from the DCWV glitter stack. I LOVE it!!

Thanks

Mps challenge 11

Almost done!
This one was lots of fun for me because it's one of my favorite color combinations. Use pink, green, and black. I knew I had to do a page for my daughters first birthday, her color theme was pink and green. I will add the pictures later. And maybe something else, it's seems kind of blah now that I look at it. Oh well, enjoy.

Mps challenge 10

This challenge was to make something with a pet in it. I have been slowly working on my Daisys book so I thought I'd do a layout for that. It's getting easier to work on her pictures now, it's been over a year since we had to put her down, and I still miss her. Sorry on to the layout.
It's just a simple black and white page with a splash of color with the pink ribbon. I heat embossed her name on the page, and even though I ran my emboss buddy over the paper it still turned out messy, but, I kind of liked it so I kept it. Thanks for reading.

Mps challenging 6

Make something with a tag on it.
Another challenge for me as I don't use a lot of tags in my stuff. But I like how it turned out.

The tag is cut from the essentials cart on my CE2.

MPS challenge number 5

Make a 3d item. I decided to make a hair clip for my girls. I got the idea for this flower from the DCWV blog.

Mps challenge 4

Make something with a mothers day theme. I actually had to make three of these, but I only completed one in the hour time challenge. They will be gifts for my girls Grandmas.
The flower stems are actually the girls hands.

Mps challenge 3

Make something with a breast cancer awareness theme.
I don't really like how this turned out, but you can't like them all right?

Mps challenge 2

This challenge was actually really difficult for me. I don't use Kraft cardstock, and wasn't sure if I even had any, luckily I did.

I made this page using DCWV Kraft cardstock, and basic grey paper. Sorry the pictures aren't great they are just taken with my iPhone.

MPS National Scrapbook Day Challenge 1

I am so excited for National Scrapbook Day. Besides the twelve challenges put on by Robyn and her design team I will also be challenging myself to try and create a scrapbook page for every challenge. I have gotten so behind on scrapbooking, hopefully this will help.

The first challenge was to create something with a cupcake. I created this page using my new CE2. I will add the pictures later. Hope you like it, I do.
