MPS challenge #1

I made this card for the My Pink Stamper National Scrapbook Day challenge #1.....thats a mouthful.

I didn't quite know where I was going with this card when I started. I knew I didn't have time to use my cricut, hello I have two little girls that keep me so busy! As it is, it took me two hours to make one silly card. Oh well, I will continue working as the day goes, and into this evening and tomorrow.

Today my sister, her girls, my girls, my mom, and myself are all going to lunch to celebrate Mothers Day and my Moms Birthday...which is on the seventh.

Anyway, so the card base is blue textured cardstock from DCWV, the yellow layer is from American Crafts Adobe line, and the brown layer is the reverse side of the yellow polk-a-dot paper.

The flower is from Basic Grey, I think the Sugar Rush collection, and the sentiment is from a sticker set I've had for a while. It turned out to be a really simple card. Which was good because my 19 month old "helped." The sentiment says, "Grandmas, make everything sweeter." This goes along with the gift we are making for the Grandmas this year. I will show you that in a following post.
Thanks for stopping by. Don't forget I will do a blog candy if I ever get 50 subscribers!! Tell your friends.
Thanks,
Nicole
